Document Scan: Processing Only on Your Device
Some calculators let you transfer values via photo (e.g. from a payslip).
Text Recognition in the Browser
OCR recognition runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly (Tesseract). The photo never leaves your device and is never uploaded.
No Third-Party Services
The recognition software is loaded from our own servers — no external services or CDN providers are contacted.
No Storage
Once the dialog is closed, the photo and recognized text are completely removed from memory. Values only flow into the calculator after your confirmation.
Anonymous Usage Statistics
As with all calculators, we anonymously record that the feature was used and how many fields were transferred — never content or image data.
