Countdown calculator: counting down to your event

The countdown calculator instantly shows you how many days remain until a specific date. Besides the days, the remaining time is also shown in weeks (with leftover days) and as an approximate number of months. The calculation uses UTC midnight for both dates, so daylight saving time changes have no effect on the result.
Typical use cases are vacation countdowns, birthdays, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, deadlines, exam dates, production launches or your next doctor’s appointment. The calculator also works backwards: if the target date is in the past, it shows how many days have passed since the event.
